Turn dashboards into polished, multi-page reports your team or clients will understand at a glance.
July 11, 2025
Take your email analytics to the next level by customizing reports for specific clients, campaigns, or time periods. With Edit Report mode, you have full control over how your dashboards are packaged and presented—without altering the original data or layout.
What Is Edit Report Mode?
Once you’ve opened the report page, you’ll see the Edit Report button at the top right of the screen. Clicking it puts you in layout mode, where you can rearrange, rename, or add dashboards as pages in your report.
This mode is designed to help you:
- Creating tailor reports and client-ready summaries
- Organize dashboards into meaningful pages
- Multiple reports for different audiences
How to Edit a Report
1. Add Pages (Dashboards)
On the right side menu, you will see a checklist of all your created and default dashboards templates. To add one to your report:
- Select any dashboard by checking its name
- It will instantly appear as a new page in your report
- You can add as many dashboards as needed
✅ New dashboard pages with a custom layout can be created in the Dashboard Editor. The filters and dropdown options can be set within reports and will retain their settings independently of the dashboard page.
2. Reorder Pages
Use the drag handle beside each page block to rearrange the order of dashboards in your report.
- Hover over a dashboard name
- Click and hold the handle icon
- Drag it up or down to reorder
This gives you control over the story you want to tell with your metrics.
3. Rename the Report
You can rename the existing report or when duplicating and creating new versions.
- Click on the report title dropdown at the top right to rename it.
- Create a new report or modify an existing one.
Card Filtering Options
Each card on the page within the report can have:
- Unique date ranges
- Metric toggles (Rate vs Value)
- Source selections (All emails, Campaigns, or Automations)
These settings are saved per report and do not affect the original dashboards template. Likewise, updates made to the dashboards later won’t overwrite report-specific filters or dropdowns.
Save and Share Your Work
Once done:
- Click Save Report to keep your page layout and filters
- Export the report and share the report using a public link (no login needed)
- Or download the report as a PDF
This makes it easy to deliver results professionally and repeatedly.
Notes for Editing Reports
- Use clear dashboard names before importing them into reports
- Duplicate reports for different regions, teams, or timeframes
- Save reports often while working on larger sets
